Tourists like to take 4-wheel vehicle or drive to stop at Kor Kwang Beach and walk to the beach, as Klong Dao Beach is crowded with resorts.
Klong Dao Beach or Loh Barah is about 2 kilometers long and can be seen connected with Kor Kwang Beach from afar as there is only a small waterway that parts them.
Klong Dao Beach is a famous beach with the largest number of accommodation on Koh Lanta. The while and clean sand and the spacious beach make it the tourists’ favorite.
Though Klong Dao Beach is ideal for swimming, but by the beach end is rocky-better for viewing the scenery and the fisherman way of life.

The sand is brownish red, fine, clean and smooth, making the sea there rather shallow possible to walk and swim. At low tide, it serves as fields for football and volleyball. At night, resorts and restaurants are beautifully lighted as a nice setting for sipping cold drinks with light music along with the breeze and wave sound. This beach is most lively day and night.
